Older gay men deserve the sex life they missed out on

In 2017, a poll by Gallup revealed that about four percent of American men identify as gay. Over the past two decades, it seems that the topic of homosexuality, especially the social and legal acceptance, has spiraled forward, allowing for members of Generation Y and Z to find affirmation on their terms.

However, for the tens of millions of gay and bisexual men born between the end of World War II and the fall of the Soviet Union, they lived a life that was a little more in the shadows (to say the least). This era was commonly known as an unfortunate and brutal time – where simply seeking out sex with another male put oneself in harm’s way: violent homophobic attacks, AIDS, family rejection.
